Data deletion instructions
Use these steps to request deletion of your Book Actions account data. We will confirm receipt and follow up if we need more information.
1. Submit a deletion request
Send your request from the email address tied to your account so we can verify ownership. You can reach us in either of these ways:
- Use the contact form.
- Include "Data Deletion" in the subject so we can route it quickly.
2. What we delete
Once verified, we remove or anonymize the data linked to your account, including:
- Profile information and account settings.
- Course progress, lesson responses, and diagnostics.
- Support conversations tied to your account.
- Device sync data stored in our databases.
3. What we may retain
We may keep limited records when required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as:
- Payment and tax records needed for financial compliance.
- Security logs used to protect against fraud or abuse.
- Backups that expire on a rolling schedule before permanent removal.
4. Verification and timeline
We respond to deletion requests within 1-2 business days and typically complete deletion within 30 days after verification.
